this film assembles the context for the last gulf war, the current gulf war, and the relation of the post-balfour west to iraq.the battery of interview subjects assembled is massive, from former diplomats to gulf war combat vets.there are about 3 hours of material crammed into this one-hour film, which can be a bit much all at once; as any good war documentary should hidden wars provides the viewer with the most relevant details that make sense of the current conflict.if the causal elements and context were included in current events discussion and coverage, films like these would not be necessary; until then, a movie like hidden wars fills in all the blanks. excellent work.
